Rob is also a seasoned communications strategist and speechwriter, working at senior strategic levels of government, labour and advocacy organizations for 18 years.

Aaron is a principled technology enthusiast with a passion for participatory culture and years of experience in the nonprofit sector. Before joining Social Signal, Aaron worked with Vancouver's Portland Hotel Society, one of the city's most crucial front-line community service organizations. A former member of IndyMedia, Aaron's film and web work includes the online stop-animation project vitaminbike.org, and leading the digital editing and web promotion for a Vancouver film that has since toured North America's independent festivals.

Natasha Scott, Project Manager

With an education spanning geochemistry and computer science, Natasha's previous web development work has seen her deliver projects ranging from a multi-stage registration system for a conference hosting over 1,000 delegates to the development of an entire web presence for the newly-inaugurated Thompson Rivers University. A member of the Social Signal team since October 2007, Natasha has helped projects such as Tyze.org and Green Gifts overcome obstacles, meet milestones and exceed expectations.

Julia's diligence and persistence combine with a friendly, professional manner to keep our office humming and our projects on track. A graduate of Algonquin College's advertising program, Julia's skills at organizing workflow and navigating business processes have been honed in such diverse environments as elder care, a law firm and a talent agency. She's as comfortable with inventory control as she is with connecting actors with casting directors, and fluently bilingual to boot.

Sarah Leavitt, Content Developer

A freelance writer and editor for seven years - and a counsellor and educator in the anti-violence sector for a decade before that - Sarah brings a wide range of talents, insight and experience to client projects. She received her MFA in Creative Writing from UBC in 2007; her comics and illustrations have appeared in Geist magazine and Modern Dog magazine, while her fiction and non-fiction have been published in Geist, Maisonneuve, the Globe and Mail, Vancouver Review and a number of anthologies.
